Spring in the mountains is the ideal time to embark on long walks across the superb nature! We present you two hiking paths where you can experience many surprises during the spring in the mountains.

On the circular hiking path “Bee Stories”, a beekeeper will tell you the secrets about bee colonies. Together you will hike past several stations where you will learn interesting facts about our South Tyrolean bees. The show apiary at the farm Locherhof offers a unique insight into the lively inner life of a beehive. On the farm Lechnerhof, you may learn more about the work of the beekeeper and visit the bee house. For the grand finale, besides honey, you may taste also other delicious bee products. Thus, the spring is in the mountains turns into a real treat!

Spend the spring in the mountains together with your family and children, and explore the family trail Woody Walk. The hiking path starts right at the mountain station of the cable car Plose, the local mountain of Bressanone, and is part of the popular Dolomites Panorama Trail! This exciting family hiking trail is suitable for prams and young hikers, because the largest part is done by cable car. During the hike you may enjoy the spring in the mountains in all its splendour!
