The Rodenegg Castle in the main village of Villa was built in 1140 by Frederick I von Rodank and is today owned by the descendants of the minstrel Oswald von Wolkenstein. The castle is primarily known for the eleven Iwein Frescoes. They tell of the adventures of Iwein, one of Artus’ Knights of the Round Table. From June to September, guided tours are offered – Mondays there are special guided tours for children.
